Portfolio Throwback:
2018 Holiday Party
March 6, 2023
A lot of my design work tends to be more "serious" in nature, whether that's for a nonprofit, small business, or a couple planning their wedding. Today I wanted to share one of my favorite digital pieces from 2018. At the time, I worked for a law school in Baltimore, and 95% of my day was spent working on symposia marketing or fundraising projects.
Creating a Career Logbook
Feb. 27, 2023
For many, the new year offers a fresh start and an opportunity for reflection and goal setting. It’s no surprise then that I’ve been working with several clients over the last few weeks on their resumes, cover letters, and job interview preparation. While you may not expect a person who designs wedding invitations to also offer resume review, I love being able to offer this and other professional services.
Semi-Custom Designs
Feb. 20, 2023
For today's blog, I wanted to talk about an alternative option for those individuals and business owners that have a vision for a project, but are short on time or don't have a large budget. In those cases, MJC offers a range of semi-custom designs.

Greeting Card Wedding Favors

Owen's First Birthday Party Invitations
Dec. 5, 2022
In March of this year, I was asked to create a custom invitation for a first birthday party for a sweet little boy named Owen.
Lauren, Owen's mom, was looking for a design that featured watercolored balloons in a cheerful, but muted, color palette including blues, tans, and oranges. She also wanted to include a special request for guests to bring books instead of toys.
Mondays with MJC
Dec. 5, 2022
When I founded Michelle Junot Creative, LLC earlier this year, it was the fulfillment of a long-time dream. It’s been an absolute joy to develop this small creative agency and stationary shop, and I’ve so enjoyed working with a variety of clients this year.
